The DVT team is looking for a summer intern to work as a Software Development Engineer (Web)

Start your career with the Strategic Student Program (SSP)!


The SSP is our formal internship programs at SIEMENS Software.

You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!

The program is a 2 months summer internship (July & August) 2025.

There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.

Main responsibilities:



+ Learning to work in a real environment, including workflows, code reviews, bug tracking system, source control management and interacting with other team members.

+ Working on software applications, understanding, and developing features, and resolving bugs without disrupting existing functionality.

+ Following software processes during the development cycle and delivering code with high quality.

+ Collaborating with developers to learn and discuss implementation details.

+ Presenting the internship tasks and project(s) worked on to the software team.



+ Working on a development stack that uses Java Spring with Hibernate to interface with various SQL databases, CSS, HTML, and bootstrap for the front-end.

+ Working with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.

+ Contributing to create fresh new UX/UI that adheres to predefined guidelines .



Qualifications:



+ 3rd and 4rth undergraduate students of Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a relevant field.

+ Good knowledge of software development concepts and processes.

+ Previous experience working on Linux operating system.

+ Good knowledge of web technologies.

+ Experience working with react and/or angular.

+ Team player and willing to collaborate within a team environment.

+ Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
