Platform Infrastructure Engineer

Job description

The Platform Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

This role ensures the resiliency, security, and efficiency of critical infrastructure modules.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud computing, automation, and networking while working in a fast-paced technology environment.

• Infrastructure Deployment & Management: Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure modules on AWS and on-premises environments.
  
  
• Network Administration: Manage network configurations and security for both cloud and on-premises data centers.
  
  
• System Resiliency & Compliance: Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with industry security standards.
  
  
• Automation & Patch Management: Implement infrastructure automation, patch management, and standardized golden AMIs.
• Incident Resolution & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  
  
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and maintain updated documentation.
  
  
• Infrastructure Security & Monitoring: Deploy and manage infrastructure-related security applications, including boundary and vault solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in DevOps or SRE or Similar role.
• Solid background in DevOps practices with hands-on experience in container orchestration and CI/CD automation.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools and GitOps workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring, security, and messaging systems for robust application performance.
• Excellent analytical skills and a collaborative mindset for continuous improvement.
• Oversee infrastructure deployments, both internal and cloud-based.
• Manage the deployments and configuration of these applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch, ELK, Zabbix).
• Experience with C# , Python, Go Lang, or any high-level programming language is a plus.
